Walking through the madder coloured streets of Jaipur, looking at other such historical buildings, paying homage to the testimony of the heritage which now accommodate modern day life and serve the purpose of being more than just mere infrastructures.
What drew me to them, I wondered. Perhaps it was their otherworldly nature. Maybe it was their timeless act of storytelling. Or was it the simplicity with which they left a lasting impression on the viewer? At first I thought it to be a rather strange desire to be like a city but then I started to realize the projections that I wished for in my work.
